Hey-O! here’s the new Pendoflex moon tail quad that Steve built for Ben. Steve hand-shaped this beauty using a WNC EPS blank and then he glassed it with epoxy. The rad camouflage paint job was sprayed by our pal Jeffrey Meyer. Ben is a tall, strapping lad of about 6’4 with size 14-1/2 feet, who likes to shred! The dimensions of his board are: length, 6’3, nose 14, wide point 21, tail 16 with a 9 inch moon tail and quad fin setup. Cowa-flexit!

Hello, Ben!
So stoked you like the photo of your new board, high-shred-ability factor! Max is bringing it up to you. Looking forward to talking, soon.
Love you, too.

Nice!
Camo…
makes sense
that camoflage in the ocean
would be kelp.
Life is in the living,
we only live doing
the things we love.
Enjoy your board

This board is amazing Steve and Cher! I haven’t had a full-on session yet with good conditions but it floats me perfectly, is as fast as a rocket ship, and I did get to do a big, sweeping top turn on an outside bomb at 3rd point Malibu today (before it got ridiculously crowded). The future fins snapped in so nice, the shape is perfect, the camo design turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I have yet to go backside (left) on a lined up wave yet, so that will be something to experience and enjoy. You distributed the foam perfectly to enable a guy my size to stay on a short board, thank you so much- I love you guys!

Ok, so I finally caught a super long wave at Sunset (here in LA and NOT in Hawaii unfortunately) all they way from the outside almost to the rocks and wow, my new quad rules! Tons of speed down the line that ended up in me doing a jumbo floater. I even felt a subtle flex cushion what should have been a knee-buckling landing. Someone approached me on the beach afterwards and I guess I caught some air coming down too! On a wave earlier in the session, I got my first frontside lipper which felt awesome as well. I still haven’t caught a good backside wave yet, but I can only imagine how hard my camo quad will turn with all the speed it generates- thanks again Cher and Steve!
Love,
Ben

Hi Steve and Cher:
Remember when you were a little kid and you were ready to jump for joy because you knew Santa Claus was coming to town? That’s how I feel whenever I break out my new stick! It turns like a dream, my roundhouses are more drawn out and the turning radius is tighter with more snap! The edge off the moon tail is phenomenal and the quad setup is giving me more speed down the line than ever before, even in sub-par surf. Everyone that has seen it has been blown away: the camo paint, the blue fins, the shape, the scooped out tail patch, etc. Strangers have stopped me in and out of the water. So great that I get to Cowa-Flexit!
Love,
Ben

Hi Steve and Cher! Just out of curiosity, do you happen to recall the thickness of this shred sled? The dimensions are of course written on the bottom of the board but sort of tough to read through the bitchin’ paint job.
I let my buddy Scott try it today and he was blown away. I think he is ready to sacrifice his square-tail, potato chip, needle-nosed thruster to the railroad tracks. In fact, he wants a pendo (or two) now…
Love you guys!
Ben
